I fully agree with the author. GE is the epitome of greed on our planet today. The individuals in charge have, what some psychologists call, negative-zero empathy. In other words, the CEO and administrators are totally unconnected to reality and to the rest of the sentient beings on Planet Earth. I would call this state a serious separation from Source Energy.

People from all over the world must come together as ONE voice to stop this rampant exploitation and pollution of our planet and it's resources. If we don't, we will soon end up with a planet that is completely inhabitable.

I couldn't agree more. While the fat cats sit in their plush offices the people sacrificing their health and lives in Fukushima are sleeping on the floor with ONE blanket and no water according to the news while the CEO of GE sips champagne and nibbles on caviar. What these people do is essentially organized crime. It is criminally damaging to society and well organized for personal profit at the expense of all people on this planet and every taxpayer who funds their own demise and pays for the clean up and burial.

thank you so much for all of these informations,

Here, TV news tell us all is safe now and nothing about this devil fuel !!! Nothing at all ! The only one information able to affect us, here in Province of Quebec, in Canada is the sea level and possibility of water in our basement. No more.

Nothing about the risk of contamination.

Thank you very much and please don't stop to give us more news !

From a friend...

Subject: FW: I am back in the US after a week in Japan

I am in the US. Narita opened on Saturday afternoon and Delta had several planes already parked in Narita. They used them to fly everyone to LAX, DTW, ATL and SFO.

I must commend the Japanese on a terrific show of calm and order in a terrible time. After the earthquake (2:45pm on Friday, Tokyo time, my flight was at 4pm), they evacuated the entire airport on the tarmac, and then slowly, slowly, let us back in as they checked the floors for safety. They had stockpiles of water, food, blankets, and they distributed them in an orderly fashion. The bathrooms were clean, electricity and wireless was re-established quickly, cell phones worked well, and even after 24 hours of virtually no airport operation, there was not a piece of paper or trash to be seen anywhere. Even at an earthquake of 7.6-7.7 (this is what they estimated it to be at Narita) and a huge amount of shaking for ~2-3 minutes (I saw a 747 dancing up and down and then dove under a table in the Delta Club!!!), no windows popped, no ceiling tiles fell, elevators were restored, and there was no visible damage to the airport. The staff was polite, calm, and helpful, and always there (they never went home). And because they were calm and because there were no shortages of water and food, everyone else was calm, and it was a civil atmosphere. We slept on the floors next to each other, hundreds of us. They even had baby food and diapers for mothers. We watched the devastation in north japan on TV, and Narita floors seemed such a luxurious place afterwards.

By noon the second day, you could see them preparing the planes and having their engineers check the runways. Their biggest problem, as we understood, were the dozens of planes which were already in the air when the earthquake occurred and were diverted to US military bases (poor fellows spent the entire night IN the plane after crossing the pacific because the US bases cannot process passports and paperwork for civilians). These planes started landing around noon, and the Delta flights started leaving at 3pm. I got on the second flight out at 4pm, and only a 24 hour delay. Amazing.

They got Narita to operational in < 24 hours after a major earthquake. THIS IS impressive (impressive that it was not damaged in the first place, and impressive that they checked it all and restored all working “modules” in < 24 hours). Also, no buildings went down in Tokyo (some of my friends were on the 33rd floor in a hotel in Tokyo and no windows popped, but the building swayed for 30 minutes).

No one should be in an 8.9 earthquake, but if you are in one, you should be in Japan. They know how to handle earthquakes.

Third Japanese reactor to load MOX
10 August 2010
Tokyo Electric Power Company's (Tepco's) Fukushima I unit 3 is set to become the third Japanese nuclear reactor to load mixed oxide (MOX) fuel after receiving approval from the governor of Fukushima Prefecture, Yukei Sato. The unit follows Kyushu Electric's Genkai 3, which started using MOX fuel in November 2009, and Shikoku's Ikata 3, which was loaded with some MOX fuel in March 2010. According to the Denki Shimbun, the 760 MWe boiling water reactor will be loaded with MOX fuel by 21 August and the unit will restart in late September. Japan's Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency has so far approved the use of MOX fuel in ten reactors, but utilities must also secure approval from prefectural governments before they can go ahead and use the fuel, which contains plutonium recovered from spent nuclear fuel.
